Custom Concrete Prep and Polish proudly uses the Consolideck® Flooring System by PROSOCO. PROSOCO has made a name for itself as a pioneer in the chemical construction industry. PROSOCO led the finished concrete flooring industry with its launch of Consolideck products nearly a decade ago. One of their many first-to-market innovations is a lithium-silicate densifier and a guard for concrete floors.

PROSOCO’s Consolideck products are also the first (and currently only) concrete flooring products to achieve industry-leading labels in material health. The company has worked with designers, building scientists, contractors, and leading green building rating systems. LEED v4 and the Living Building Challenge v2.2 accept many of their formulations which surpass the highest green standards in contemporary building design and construction. All of this is part of PROSOCO’s broader mission to make products that maximize building energy efficiency, durability and resiliency while leaving a minimal impact on the environment.

The International Living Future Institute has awarded a Declare label for eight of PROSOCO’s products. In May of 2014, Consolideck LS concrete densifier became the first-ever concrete finish to receive a Declare label. Since then six other products have been awarded Declare labels.

Consolideck®GemTone Stain

Consolideck® GemTone Stain is a penetrating translucent color dye for interior concrete floors. The stains transform dull grey concrete into decorative, low maintenance finished concrete flooring. Apply penetrating GemTone Stains to concrete before hardening/densifying with Consolideck® LS®, then apply Consolideck® LSGuard to enhance the color with a high gloss protective finish. It penetrates deeper than acid stains or conventional color pigments, and will not peel or flake.

Consolideck® LS®

Premium concrete sealer, hardener & densifier

Consolideck® LS® is a penetrating lithium silicate treatment that reacts with the concrete to produce insoluble calcium silicate hydrate within the concrete pores. The increased surface hardness imparted by Consolideck® LS® eliminates dusting and simplifies maintenance producing a cleaner, healthier environment. Treated surfaces resist damage from water and surface abrasion. Safer, faster and easier to apply than conventional sodium or potassium silicate hardeners, Consolideck® LS® will not trigger or contribute to surface ASR (Alkali Silicate Reaction).

Consolideck® LSGuard

Glossy sealer and protective treatment for concrete

Consolideck® LSGuard® is a copolymer formulation that improves the surface sheen and stain resistance of conventional concrete, hardened concrete or cement terrazzo floors. Consolideck® LSGuard® protects and enhances the color intensity of integrally colored and color stained concrete. LSGuard® provides a long lasting, high gloss finish that maximizes light reflectance and eliminates the need for floor waxes, liquid polishes and conventional resin-based coatings.

Consolideck® PolishGuard

Protective sealer for interior horizontal concrete floors

Consolideck® PolishGuard is a durable, protective coating that dramatically increases the stain resistance of interior concrete floors. This non-yellowing formulation enhances the appearance of standard gray, integrally colored, dyed, stained or color-hardened concrete floors. It adds depth and luster to colored concrete, including surfaces decorated with Consolideck GemTone Stain and ColorHard, and produces a long-lasting, tough protective shine on any interior concrete flatwork. PolishGuard is ideal for steel-troweled, burnished, polished or decorative concrete and cement terrazzo floors that are exposed to accidental spills of food products, household cleaners and many industrial solutions.

Consolideck® LSKlean

Maintenance cleaner for lithium silicate hardened/densified concrete

Consolideck® LSKlean is a maintenance cleaner specifically designed for concrete floors treated with lithium silicate hardening/densifying products. This specialized blend of degreasers and detergents removes most common soiling found on concrete floors. It is ideal for concrete floors everywhere, from warehouses and manufacturing plants to schools, stores, hospitals, restaurants and more. LSKlean has a lithium silicate hardener/densifier to help maintain concrete hardness.
